Our Lady’s appearances to young Bernadette Soubirous in Lourdes, France, in 1858 are well known and well documented. Just one year later, a lesser-known but still important Marian apparition took place in an American frontier settlement.

Based on historical documents, testimonies, personal interviews, and expert analysis, America’s Mary: The Story of Our Lady of Good Help chronicles for the first time the United States’ only Church-approved Marian apparition.

In 1859 on the Door County Peninsula of northeast Wisconsin, Mary appeared three times to a young Belgian woman named Adele Brise. She identified herself as the Queen of Heaven and gave Adele instructions to teach the children their catechism, pray, do penance, sacrifice, and receive the sacraments frequently. Adele was initially met with skepticism, and during her lifetime she experienced many trials, including persecution. Still, she maintained that she was telling the truth and courageously carried on the mission the Blessed Mother had given to her.

Although the local community accepted Adele’s story as real, and popular piety built up around Mary’s appearances and messages, it was more than 100 years before the Church conducted a thorough investigation. In 2010, the apparition was approved.

Since then, thousands of pilgrims each year have visited the National Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help in Champion, WI, seeking the Queen of Heaven’s intercession for peace, healing, and help.

This Marian Shrine, the only approved Marian Shrine in the USA, is about 20 minutes for our store!!  Our Lady of Good Help, pray for us!

Yet most Protestants, and too many Catholics don't understand the role that God wants her to play in our lives. In Behold Your Mother, Tim Staples takes you through the Church's teachings about the Blessed Virgin Mary, showing their firm Scriptural and historical roots and dismantling the objections of those who mistakenly believe that Mary competes for the attention due Christ alone. Combining the best recent scholarship with a convert's in-depth knowledge of the arguments, Staples has assembled the most thorough and useful Marian apologetic you'll find anywhere. Relevant and essential -- Mary matters. Read Behold Your Mother and find out just how much.

  • Family Consecration To Jesus Through Mary: 33 Days of Preparation With St. Louis de Montfort

  • Detailed instructions to help you lead your family to Jesus

  • 33 mini-retreat days recommended by Saint Louis de Montfort

Saint Faustina warned parents that praying for their children is not enough. That’s why so many conscientious parents take the further step of consecrating their children to Jesus through Mary, thereby defending them from evil and paving their way to Heaven.

This book walks you through the simple process of doing just that. Its informed pages give you detailed instructions to help you lead your family (ages seven and up) through each of the 33 mini-retreat days recommended by Saint Louis de Montfort, the beloved eighteenth-century priest and confessor who tirelessly preached that Jesus is not known well enough because Mary is not known well enough.

Adapted for the often less-than-ideal prayer circumstances of families — particularly those with young children — these 33 brief, stress-free daily spiritual exercises and family activities bring adults and children greater knowledge of Jesus through Mary, and a more fervent love of both.

Don’t delay. There’s no book more immediately beneficial than this and no time better than now to seize the day and help all the members of your family — young and old — to consecrate their lives to Jesus through Mary.

Apostoli focuses on three specific ways Mary leads us to Jesusas mother, teacher, and advocate: In her motherly role, she gave life to Jesus and gives life to us, her spiritual children. In her teaching role, she shows us how to trust in Gods providential working in our own lives, just as she trusted in God when she completely abandoned herself to his will in her own life. In her role as advocate, she has compassion on all her children as she intercedes for us. Essential reading for all Catholics! Bestselling author, Scott Hahn illuminates a fresh and enlightening perspective on Mary, Mother of God, and her central importance in the Christian faith.

In The Lamb's Supper, Hahn explored the relationship between the Book of Revelation and the Roman Catholic Mass, deftly clarifying the most subtle of theological points with analogies and anecdotes from everyday life. In Hail, Holy Queen, he employs the same accessible, entertaining style to demonstrate Mary's essential role in Christianity's redemptive message.

Most Christians know that the life of Jesus is foreshadowed throughout the Old Testament. Through a close examination of the Bible, as well as the work of both Catholic and Protestant scholars and clergy, Hahn brings to light the small but significant details showing that just as Jesus is the New Adam, so Mary is the New Eve. He unveils the Marian mystery at the heart of the Book of Revelation and reveals how it is foretold in the very first pages of the Book of Genesis and in the story of King David's monarchy, which speaks of a privileged place for the mother of the king.

Building on these scriptural and historical foundations, Hahn presents a new look at the Marian doctrines: Her Immaculate Conception, Perpetual Virginity, Assumption, and Coronation. As he guides modern-day readers through passages filled with mysteries and poetry, Hahn helps them rediscover the ancient art and science of reading the Scriptures and gain a more profound understanding of their truthfulness and relevance to faith and the practice of religion in the contemporary world.

A Heart Like Mary's is the perfect book for all Catholics wishing to begin or deepen their devotion to Mary. Author and Marian theologian Rev. Edward Looney guides us through thirty-one daily meditations on the unique characteristics of Mary's heart. This easy-to-read and engaging monthly devotional is full of practical lessons that address the personal challenges we all face as Mary's fellow pilgrims walking the path of faith.

In the midst of feeling lost in his prayer life and relationship with God, Fr. Looney found himself reflecting on who Mary is and how he could be more like her. He learned that by daily meditating on Mary's attributes and praying for the grace to have a heart like hers he could turn his pessimistic and critical thoughts into optimistic and charitable ones.

A Heart Like Mary's offers readers a simple yet reflective introduction to Marian spirituality by way of a month-long daily devotional. Readers come away with a clear sense of who Mary was, how she cares for and looks after the faithful, and how we can honor her in our daily lives.

Based heavily on scripture, Church teaching, and Looney's personal experience, A Heart Like Mary's gently teaches us how to imitate Mary's love for others and devotion to God. Each day's meditation offers simple yet reflective insight into a unique characteristic of Mary's heart. You'll discover twenty-one attributes and ten separate desires of her heart, including:

  • A Heart That Says Yes
  • A Heart That Rejoices
  • A Heart Filled with Generous Love
  • A Heart Attentive to the Needs of Others
  • A Heart of Compassion
  • A Heart Desiring to Alleviate Suffering
  • A Heart Desiring Us to Pray
  • A Heart Desiring Peace
  • As we're guided through each of these meditations, we'll find inspiration for changing our own behavior and heart's disposition so that we, too, can respond to God, our loved ones, and life's obstacles with the same tenderness that Mary does.

    Each day provides a scriptural quote or message from one of Mary's apparitions, followed by a reflection leading us into the depths of Mary's heart and showing us how to mirror her heart. We also will be invited to call upon Mary's intercession, asking her to give us a heart like hers. Each meditation concludes with a challenge to incorporate a love for Mary into our prayer life and action toward others.

    This book offers a clear, beautiful exposition of Catholic beliefs about Mary. Not a history or a compendium, it was written by a Carmelite monk who spent decades praying and pondering the mysteries of the faith concerning the Mother of Jesus.

    Catholic Mariology has matured through centuries of meditation upon both the Bible and the Church's faith in the Incarnation. The Marian dogmas of the Church are guarantors of the full meaning of the statement in the Gospel of John that the word became flesh and dwelt among us (1:14).

    Fr. Wilfrid Stinissen shows that Mariology corrects any attempt to minimize the good news that God became man so that man could become like God. In writing about Mary, he underlines the astonishing truth that God has initiated an intimate communion with mankind. In a world that strives to reduce human dignity, Mary reveals the very high value of man in God's eyes and God's wondrous love and plan for each one of us.

    How do you walk with your children during times of struggle and crisis? Do you feel as if nothing you do will be enough?

    In Mary's Way, a heartfelt book for moms who struggle to guide children through the various stages of their lives, Catholic speaker and teacher Judy Landrieu Klein shows how her own crisis of faith helped her release her children to the care of the Blessed Mother. In doing so, Klein shows you how to find the love, joy, and peace of Our Lord as you surrender your will to him.

    Judy Landrieu Klein struggled with her faith as she lived through her son's near-fatal addiction to drugs and her daughter's painful anxiety. She discovered she couldn't handle the relentless pressure of life not measuring up to her expectations and it was eating away at her family.

    Klein considered Mary's reaction to the events in the life of Jesus. She meditated on Mary's fiat and her prayer of total surrender to God's will and saw how this act of obedience carried on throughout Mary's life as she witnessed the life of her son. As Klein focused on her devotion to the Blessed Mother, her life and faith were transformed.

    In Mary's Way, Klein reflects on the Annunciation and describes her own to struggle to embrace the will of God by surrendering control of her family planning. She meditates on Mary's powerlessness during the Crucifixion, finding a place of calming surrender during her own son's escalating battle with addiction.

    Klein shows how you can become a more powerful intercessor for yourself and your children. When you finish reading this book, you'll find yourself turning to Mary and surrendering yourself and your children more fully to God.

    Winner of a 2020 Catholic Press Association book award (second place, pilgrimages-Catholic travel).

    In My Queen, My Mother: A Living Novena, award-winning author Marge Steinhage Fenelon brings you along on a pilgrimage to nine Marian shrines across the United States. Each day of this spiritual journey helps you encounter God and a deeper relationship with the Blessed Mother.

    "My Queen, My Mother, I give myself entirely to you."

    The opening line to the Little Consecration sets the framework of this unique, nine-day pilgrimage, which culminates in a consecration to Mary.

    This living novena is similar in style and structure to the pilgrimage Fenelon developed in the bestselling and award-winning Our Lady, Undoer of Knots. The key difference, however, is that the first living novena was framed by Pope Francis's visit to the Holy Land. For My Queen, My Mother, Fenelon chose sacred destinations that reflect the Catholic heritage of the United States.

    The nine Marian sites Fenelon visits are:

  • Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche, St. Augustine, Florida;
  • National Shrine of Our Lady of Prompt Succor, New Orleans, Louisiana;
  • St. Mary's Mission and Museum, Stevensville, Montana;
  • Shrine of Our Lady of Sorrows, Starkenburg, Missouri;
  • Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation, Carey, Ohio;
  • The National Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help, Champion, Wisconsin;
  • Shrine of Our Lady of Martyrs, Auriesville, New York;
  • House of Mary Shrine, Yankton, South Dakota; and
  • Our Lady of Peace Shrine, Santa Clara, California.
  • Even if you can't make a physical pilgrimage as Fenelon did, you can still make a spiritual one through her extended guided meditation. Each day you'll learn about a different shrine to Mary: its history, charism, and graces. Fenelon will also guide you to visit a new "place" in your heart, to understand more about yourself and how to open your heart more fully to Mary.

    You are not tied to a pilgrimage of nine consecutive days: You can complete the spiritual journey in nine weeks or even nine months. There are reflection questions at the end of each chapter.

    On May 13, 1917, the Virgin Mary first revealed herself to a trio of shepherd children in Fatima, Portugal. She would appear to them five more times over the course of the year until the great miracle of the sun on October 13, 1917. She brought a message of love and peace that was heard around the world--a sorely-needed antidote to the ravages of World War I. To mark the 100th anniversary of the apparitions, Donna-Marie Cooper O'Boyle provides a one-stop guide to the tradition, history and spirituality of Our Lady of Fatima, including the testimonies of those who have made the pilgrimage and prayers for those who share this devotion.

    In Our Lady of Fatima, award-winning author, journalist, pilgrimage host and host of EWTN's Everyday Blessings for Catholic Moms and Catholic Mom's Café Donna-Marie Cooper O'Boyle offers a mini-Fatima retreat--an "armchair pilgrimage," if you will. This collection of prayers, testimonies and reflections will bring to life the events of Fatima and help you find ways to apply Mary's Fatima message to the nitty-gritty details of your daily life.

    Each chapter begins with a quote by or about the Blessed Mother before delving into a key aspect of the story of Mary's appearances to nine-year-old Lúcia Santos and her cousins, Jacinta and Francisco Marto. A prayer, a simple reflection and a doable call to action transform this book from a simple historical retelling into a practical devotional.
    The Blessed Mother's Fatima message is needed now more than ever. The uncertainty of global events can seep into our daily worries, creating fear and anxiety that's difficult to overcome. Our Lady of Fatima is a welcome remedy for that worry. In it, you'll find a chance to grow in faith and holiness, as well as a needed dose of inspiration, hope and peace in following its advice and suggestions, and in praying the prayers.

    In Quito, Ecuador, in the 17th century, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to Mother Mariana de Jesus Torres and asked her to offer herself as a Victim for the faithful living in the 20th century because a very great chastisement awaited them, beginning in the middle of the 20th Century! The title of Lady took was in Spanish, Nuestra Señora del Buen Suceso, which means Our Lady of the Good/Great Event. The Spanish word - Suceso - does NOT equate to the English word - Success. The word means Event or Occurrence. Therefore, the true title of Our Lady in Quito is: Our Lady of the Great Event! What Great Event could She have meant? She was referring to the Triumph of Her Immaculate Heart! Read why The Little Office of The Blessed Virgin Mary is so important to those of us who are now living through the chastisement that Our Lady of the Great Event was warning us about - 400 years ago! Contains the traditional Little Office so you can begin to pray it as Our Lady so much desires!

    Saint Faustina is well known for the revelations of Divine Mercy that she received from Jesus and recorded in her Diary. But few know that she also received many revelations from the Blessed Virgin Mary and enjoyed a special relationship with her. Now, in Purest of All Lilies, a prominent Marian priest with a background in Mariology explores St. Faustina's rich relationship with Mary from her love of Mary growing up in Poland to the many Diary passages that she devoted to the Mother of God when she was a nun. The reader learns how St. Faustina's father would begin each day singing prayers to the Blessed Virgin and of the family's special May and October devotions to the Mother of God. At the early age of five, the future saint would tell her mother of dreams she had in which she walked handinhand with the Blessed Virgin in a beautiful garden. Along with St. Faustina's early devotion to Mary, the author shows us how the Blessed Mother taught her as a nun important lessons about suffering, purity of heart and humility. Perhaps most fascinating of all, this Marian priest analyses the poems that St. Faustina wrote about Mary and the metaphors she used to describe the Blessed Virgin, including flowers such as the lily, the rose and the violet.

    First published in 1944 and now a spiritual classic for Catholics across the globe, The Reed of God contains meditations on the humanity of Mary, Mother of God. British Catholic writer and artist Caryll Houselander lovingly explores Mary's intimately human side, depicting Our Lady as a musical instrument who makes divine love known to the world. This refreshed edition is rich and rewarding reading for all Christians who wonder what Mary was really like.

    While the Second Vatican Council led to a renewed interest in the theology and person of Mary, Caryll Houselander offered a simple yet profound reflection on the Mother of God almost fifteen years before the council began.

    Confronting the static, surreal "Madonna of the Christmas card," Houselander provides instead an intuitive, warmly human, and approachable image of the Mother of God. Through the central image of a reed that is played for music, Houselander demonstrates how Mary chose to make herself an instrument for the divine plan, giving her inmost being to the proclamation of God's greatness. In sharing her distinctive vision of Mary, Houselander offers the Mother of God as a model for all people seeking to be instruments of the Divine.

    The essays and poems in The Reed of God also reflect on the mysteries of Mary's life and her impact on salvation history. In the book's four parts, Houselander explores key events of Mary's life, including her fiat, finding Jesus in the Temple, and the Assumption, as well as the themes of fruitful emptiness and the eternal search for union with God.
