The candles are very easy to make, smell heavenly when burned, and are sure to delight you children all Advent long. The kit also includes a detailed information sheet on the beautiful symbolism of beeswax candles, directions for how to make your own Advent wreath, and a reproducible Advent prayer sheet.

Many observe Advent by lighting candles each of the four Sundays in Advent. Three of the candles are purple (or blue), reminding us to pray and serve others lovingly to help prepare the way for Jesus. The candle for the third Sunday of Advent is rose-colored. This color symbolizes our joy as the birth of Jesus draws near. On Christmas Eve a white Christ candle is lit along with the other four.
Perfect for use at church or home, these flameless candles may be displayed in Advent wreaths or added to your own creations.
